Oil coming out of the ground

It smells like crude oil and it was causing a tingling sensation at my nose even when I was upwind. The path of what seems to be fugitive oil from a broken pipe underground is being blocked by a Lowe's bucket filled with 16 oz water bottles
I've taken flir footage. No large scale emissions found with OGI camera. There was small off-gassing that was observed, winds did not allow for vapors to be visualized properly. Control footage was taken by aiming the camera at the black asphalt to make sure the fumes that were being detected by the flir were not heat from the ground. Such heat did not imitate from the black asphalt, only the oil.
