Highly toxic flammable gas leak in Taft

An order to stay inside for Taft residents has been given this morning due to a highly toxic flammable gas leak. Re[ort from Kern County Fire Department below:

"A hazardous materials incident on South Lake Rd has prompted a SHELTER IN PLACE for the following zone: KRN-271-D. If you are within this zone go indoors. Shut doors and windows. Prepare to self sustain until further notice and/or contacted by emergency personnel for additional direction."
