Update notes
[Oct 29, 2024] SJVAPCD Complaint Number S-2402-052
March 5, 2024 Updates:
A SJVAPCD inspector arrived Feb 27th and found 1 gas leak at 3,000 ppm of methane. No active liquid leak was found. The gas leak was repaired. Inspector said based on the well API gravity, the location would be subject to COGR and not Air District rules. Rule 4409 is subject to oil connections for an API gravity over 30 and TVP over 1.5.
CalGEM performed additional inspections but could not replicate leak. They returned March 5th and found the stuffing box was leaking and called the operator to repair. CalGEM commented the operator is non-Complaint overall which could result in further enforcement actions.
April 2, 2024 Update:
CalGEM has inspected the last two months without any new leaks. Complaint is closed, but documentation is still be requested.
