Description
Kern County Environmental Health and the California Water Quality Control Board report dangerous levels of the neurotoxin Cyanobacteria at Kissack Bay and Paradise Cove. Cattle and human waste in the reservoir draw down zone create this problem each summer as the shallow water heats to a toxic stew. Do not enter these waters and do not let pets swim in the water.
